Frau Prof. Dr. Winner geht in ihrem Vortrag ganz speziell auf die Forschung an der HSP ein. Sie zeigt dabei auf, welche Arbeiten sie in ihrem Labor ganz speziell mit HSP-Nervenzellen macht, die sie über Hautzellen und den daraus abgeleiteten pluripotenten Stammzellen gewonnen hat. Sie zeigt das beispielhaft am HSP-Gen SPG11 auf und geht dann in ihrem Vortrag sehr intensiv auf solche Arbeiten am HSP-Gen SPG4 ein.
